Finding The Right Solution

When my oldest son started potty training, he was so happy to be out of diapers and he was really excited to be using the toilet like a “big boy!” During his potty training phase, my wife and I had a rule that before we would get into the car to go anywhere, he had to go to the potty. On more than a few occasions, while complying with this rule, he would come out of the bathroom crying because his clothes and the floor in front of the toilet were wet, and he did not understand why.

Needless to say, this was frustrating for both my wife and I, because we had to change his clothes and clean up the mess, which often made us late to wherever we were trying to go.

During my attempt to figure out why this was happening, I discovered that he was peeing through the gap between the toilet seat and the toilet bowl and I became determined to find a way to block that gap to prevent him from peeing through it.  That determination resulted in the development of the P-flector^®, which is For Kids By Parents™, Inc. first of many products to come.
